A resource I made when I was an NQT. I laminated it and put it in my planner to help when planning literally all of my lessons. It follows Blooms Taxonomy and contains command words for each of the 6 levels. I use these when setting tasks within my lessons so I can be sure to use ones appropriate for the level of challenge I am hoping to achieve.

A poster I made to encourage independent learners. It instructs students on the chain of action if/when they become stuck with their work. SNOT!!!! Self Neighbour Other Teacher I have found the poster particularly effective with more needy Year 7 and 8 classes but it works with any and all groups.

Use to encourage higher order questioning. Can be given to students to pose their own questions - for you, each other or for evidence/source material. Alternatively can be used by teachers to improve their own questioning in lessons and to challenge students more.
